Flying insects that can carry life threatening diseases?? Sounds like one of the 7 plagues! Most of the time, mosquitoes give us nothing more than an annoying itchy bump that can sometimes take weeks to go away.
West Nile Virus
West Nile virus?? Like Egypt? Oh, I don’t have to worry about that because I live in Arizona, right?? WRONG!! West Nile virus is a disease that is spread primarily through mosquito bites, and can be very harmful. Only about 1 in every 5 people who get West Nile virus will show any symptoms.
Those symptoms can range between:
- Fever
